GRAPHIC PHOTOS: Updates From Yesterday's Bank Robbery in Owo, Ondo State

According to multiple sources, three (3) commercial banks in Owo town, Ondo state were attacked by armed robbers numbering about 10 yesterday evening. The banks reported to have being robbed include; First Bank, Wema Bank and Skye Bank. 

The armed roobers were dressed in military uniform fully armed and blocked all major roads gaining enterance into bank premises where the mad robbers killed several people including a bank manager.

Sambo Visits Lagos, Tells People, Don’t Vote For A Man With No Certificate

EFCC Freezes Father Mbaka's Accounts. Orders His Arrest... Who Is Responsible?

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has allegedly frozen all accounts of the famous Enugu based reverend father Ejike Mbaka, 

Nairaland Reveals that the reverend while giving a sermon to his congregation narrated how he went to withdraw money to buy food items for the poor masses that moved down from north because of the election, but to his surprise his cheques were returned.

When he enquired why he could not make any withdrawals, he was told EFCC has directed his accounts to be frozen. He stated that the commission is also inviting him to EFCC office in Port Harcourt for questioning.

A fedral civil servant has been murdered some days into his retirement from active service, leaving his family in so much agony and pain. This poor man is disclosed to by one "Mr Emmanuel Emereonye".

Emmanuel, an administrative officer at the Federal Government Girls College, Umuahia, was on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, butchered by a labourer he hired to work for him in his hometown at Dioka Nzerem village, in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

It was gathered that Emmanuel had decided to build a befitting country house where he hoped to relocate to after his retirement.

President Jonathan Restates Commitment To Peaceful Elections

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on Wednesday in Abuja re-assures his total commitment to ensuring a peaceful, free and fair voting condition all over the country hence, having a credible elections in Nigeria on Saturday and April 11.

Speaking at an audience with a delegation of the National Committee on Peaceful Elections led by former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, President Jonathan urged all political parties, their candidates and supporters to approach the elections with more patriotism and a greater willingness to place the larger interest of the country above personal or selfish ambitions.

While so deep in my thought, i imagined if the leaders of this nation have the keen at all, no matter how small - to take nigeria to where its meant to be or at least lead us in that direction. But no, i see greed, bent-still selfishness and earnest eager for power. May God help us as Nigerians, we just need to make it right this time around.

RACISM!! Chinese Restaurant In Kenya That Discriminates Against Blacks Shut Down

A Chinese restaurant in the Kenyan capital Nairobi has been shut down and its owners summoned by authorities after it emerged it was discriminately excluding black patrons, reports said Wednesday.

The restaurant became the focus of city authorities after furious residents took to social media to denounce an apparently racist policy of not allowing African patrons to eat there after 5pm -- pushing #RacistRestaurant, #NoBlacksHere and #TheChineseInvasion to be top trending topics.

The owners of the restaurant said the measure had been put in place following a robbery operation by some blacks in 2013, and have apologised for causing any offence incurred in the process.

Obasanjo Warns Against Rumoured Plan To Hand Over To Military

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, raised alarm of a rumour that the Goodluck Jonathan administration planned to hand over to the military if he loses in Saturday’s presidential election, warning that this would undermine the integrity of Nigeria among the mutual civility of nations. “I do hope we will get things more right at this point in time. A lot of rumours are flying around, I think we have done away from the rumour of Interim Government because that is not in our constitution. I hope we will soon go away from the rumour of handing over to the military because the military is not meant to run affairs of a nation in terms of running a government.

Buhari Escapes Electoral Disqualification As Court Adjourns Eligibility Suit To April 22

According to Premium Times, the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has put an obstacle to the fast growing speculations that the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, might be barred from participating in Saturday’s presidential election exercise.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola, this morning adjourned the eligibility suit seeking to stop Gen. Buhari to a later date  (April 22 and 23) for the hearing of the case, meaning there is no more obstacle on the APC candidate’s path. The hearing will now come up about a month after the election.

Patience Jonathan Warns Voters Against Buhari - ''He is Planning to Build Prisons''

Wife of the President, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has warned women against voting for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, saying the retired soldier was planning to build prisons if elected into power.

Speaking at a rally organised by the women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, in Akure, Ondo State, on Tuesday, the President’s wife said Nigerian women should reciprocate for good the gesture of her husband, who ensured that a large number of women was appointed into political offices during his administration.

She said the APC was a dying party that thrives on the spread of romours, propaganda and lies, saying that women should not be deceived into “returning to bondage.”

This is not possible because even during his time as the military Head of State, the Supreme Military Council was made up of Christians and Muslims. Now we are in a democratic system and have both federal and state legislative bodies. A man, Godwin Elewana, has been accused of killing a 22-year-old youth, Douglas Ojugbo, for allegedly having an affair with his daughter. Neighbours said Elewana, who lives in the Cross River Basin Development Authority, Eight Miles area of Calabar, Cross River State, had warned Douglas to stop coming to his house to see his daughter.

It was learnt that Elewena could no longer hold his anger on March 10 when he pursued the boy from his house and allegedly shot him to death.

The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Aisha Buhari, has condemned the repeated bashing of the North by the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan. Patience Jonathan allegedly described the region as an enclave of beggars and unwanted children, according to Premium Times.

Mrs. Buhari said the description coming from someone who ironically campaigns for votes in that region is an indication of a hidden agenda, adding that the people of the North should, therefore, reject both the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate.

Remember the 15-year old fish seller "Sarah Ibikunle" who died in the March 12 Lagos Bank robbery in Lekki has been buried. Sarah was buried on Monday, 23rd, 2015 at Ikoyi cemetery. 

It was also learnt that the mortuary in Yaba, where the girl’s corpse was deposited, had earlier asked for a sum of N100,000 for the embalm and other burial arrangements, but all that was heard again from this was that they have released the corpse to her relations and without collecting a penny. APC the Chameleon, They Keep Changing Names.. They will Soon Start Bearing Ebola - Patience Jonathan

Speaking at the PDP women rally in Onitsha, Anambra state yesterday 23rd March, 2015, The First Lady "Patience Jonathan" said APC will be buried on March 28th. 

According to Mrs Jonathan, the defection of Rivers state Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru from APC to PDP is an indication that the opposition party is dead.

“Imagine the deputy of a whole director-general of the APC presidential campaign decamping, does that not show that the party is dead? The party is dead and buried and March 28 is its burial. The party will not live again. When you start answering old drugs, expired drugs, then you know that your death is coming closer. The way things are going, APC will soon bear Ebola. 

VIDEO: Emenike Had a Taste Of Been "Twitted-at" By his Own Fans, Moved Out of The Field in Anger

Emmanuel Emenike walked out on a match in Turkey over the weekend after racist chants by his own club (Fenerbache) fans were directed at him. He was obviously hurt during Sunday, March 22nd's match against Besiktas after his home fans began to pass twit at him. He removed his shirt and angrily moved towards the bench in either anger i suppose.

His coaches  however pleaded with him to return back to the pitch which he did. Emenike has been lazy in front of goal this season, netting just four times in 22 appearances, He was booed by his club fan before coach Ismail Kartal finally decided to withdraw him.

After the match, a furious Eminike insinuated that he was tired of life in the Thurkish club and wants to go somewhere else where he will be loved.
