Covenant University May Reduce Tuition Fees Soon... Says "VC"

The Vice-Chancellor, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Prof. Charles Ayo, has given a slight indication that the school may likely reduce its tuition fees in a bid to accommodate more students who will want to benefit from the quality education it offers.

Addressing a news conference on Friday over the school’s recent Web based ranking as the first in Nigeria and West Africa and the 15th in Africa, he said even though there is no actual date for the likely review yet, but this opening move would make admission into the school more affordable and competitive.

University of Maiduguri Set to Resume Despite Boko Haram Threats


University of Maiduguri staff and students have been asked to return to school on March 2 for the second semester of its 2014/2015 academic session despite the dread and security threat posed by boko haram set.

The institutions Chief Information Officer, Malam Ahmed Mohammed, said academic activities will start in promptly as scheduled as the announced date stipulated in the school's calendar.

"This is to inform all students, parents, guardians and staff that the University of Maiduguri will re-open for the 2nd semester, 2014/2015 session on Monday March 2, 2015 as contained in the university's calendar,"

According to a breaking news report on SaharaReporters, ballots meant for the Nigerian presidential election excercise were found yesterday at the premises of a local printer in the Essex area of London.Their sources said the sensitive election materials, which ought to have arrived in Nigeria earlier in the week, were unsecured at the premises of Panther Printing Services in London.

 SaharaReporters was able to confirm that a Nigerian firm named Cemoz International Limited had been contracted to print some ballot papers for the 2015 presidential elections. A spokesman for the Independent National Electoral Commission, Kayode Idowu, confirmed to SaharaReporters that Cemoz International Limited was one of the firms awarded the contract to print ballot papers. 

Photos from a Fatal Accident involving a Couple Returning From the Club


This accident happened on a Festac link road and it was so fatal. The vechicle tumbled after a battle with an untrollable speed, crushing all it roof top as it glides against the ground.

According to an eyewitness; Ogbonnaya merije by name, the couple were said to be returning from the club. It is obvious that the tipsy influence of alcohol may have causd it all. the woman died on the spot while the man was terribly injuried and can be said to be barely alive. 2 Years Later.. We Still Love & Miss You Goldie Harvey!!

Today makes it two years since top Nigerian female artist, Goldie Harvey passed away. Her death still hurt in the hearts of alot; I was a real big fan. I just keep imagining all the great accomplishments Goldie would have been celebrating today if she was still alive.

To those who love God, everything happens for our good. My dearie Goldie loved God so her death isn't a 'loss'. Her soul will continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. I still miss her though, what about you?
