CHIBOK GIRLS: One Year Gone... Still No Succour Of Our Girls

Today, April 14 makes it 365 days, exactly one year the Chibok community of Borno State, North East Nigeria suffered the pain of their beloved children.

More than 200 secondary school girls had gone to the Government Secondary School in the town to write their final examination high with hope that they are preparing themselves for the future, a future in which they will be useful members of the society. But rather than write the examination which would have catapulted them to greater heights, they were abducted by the Boko Horam militants.  365 days after mum remains the word on the fate of the girls.

15 year old South African Girl Caught Trying to Join The ISIS

A 15-year-old South African girl was on Sunday was prevented from flying abroad the country with the aim to join the Islamic State jihadists (ISIS).

According to AFP, the girl was reported missing by her grandparents. On sunday morning when she disappeared from her "Cape Town" home. She was found on a British Airways flight bound for Johannesburg later that very day. The girl was reportedly heading for Turkey, where she was allegedly planning to fly and have a ccross of border into Syria.

Members of Somali Islamic sect, Al-Shabab, stormed Kenyan's Garissa University College very early this morning and incurred mass murder of students and staff of the school. According to the latest report, 147 people had lost their lives in the dreadful incident which is so far the deadliest terrorist attack in Kenya. People with severe injure are about 79.

According to Kenyan security forces, of the 815 students in the college, 500 were rescued, 147 were killed and the rest - 166 - have not been properly accounted for. Some are believed to have been taken hostage. Kenya government claim they killed four of the terrorists.

EXPLOSION: Boko Haram Bombs A Bus Pack in Gombe

An explosion strikes one of the northeast Nigerian city of Gombe state yesterday everning near a bus station. this explosion claims five (5) lives and got 15 others injured

Witnesses told AFP on Thursday; 2nd of april, in an attack that bore the hallmarks of Boko Haram.

“We had an explosion outside the motor park (bus station) this evening around 8:30 pm (1930 GMT) which killed five people and injured 15 others,” said Muhammad Garkuwa, a drivers’ union official. 

“The explosion was from an explosive left by a woman in her handbag beside a bus waiting to convey passengers to Jos,” he said in an account supported by a nearby food seller.

Boko Haram Leaves Mass of Throat-slit Corpses near Nigerian Town of Damasak

Soldiers from Niger and Chad who liberated the Nigerian town of Damasak from Boko Haram militants have discovered the bodies of at least 70 people, many with their throats slit, scattered under a bridge.

According to Reuters, in what appeared to be an execution site for the Islamist group, the bodies were scattered beneath the concrete bridge on one of the main roads leading out of the town. At least one was beheaded. The bodies were partially dried up by the desert air, while grass has began to grow around the corpses, suggesting that the killings had taken place a while ago.

Boko Haram Stronghold "The Butcher" Escapes

A Boko Haram commander has escaped arrest in Kaduna State, Pulse reports. The suspect, identified as Muhammed Mai "The Butcher" managed to get away after a raid on his supposed hideout in the Ugwan Dosa area of the state.

He was said to have changed location to Kaduna after anti-terrorist operations chased him out of Borno State, he is a Boko Haram stronghold.

Bomb Blast Rocks Internally Displaced Persons Camp in Maiduguri

Yerwa Government Secondary School at Bama in Maiduguri, Borno state being the venue for the  "Internally Displaced Persons camp" was today hit by a twin explosions. 

The incident took place at about 6:15pm shaking many houses and structures around Maduganari ward, Ramat Polytechnic institute and other nearby communities. Just last Saturday, multiple explosions rocked different locations including two major markets and motor parks in the metropolis living over 100 people dead with scores injured. 

ISIS has Accepted Boko Haram's Pledge of Allegiance

In an audio message supposedly from an ISIS spokesman, the group announced that a pledge of allegiance from Nigerian-based Boko Haram has been accepted by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The 28-minute message, according to CNN, was posted online by ISIS supporters. And it says that:

  The caliphate or Islamic State has expanded to western Africa and so we congratulate our jihadi brothers there.“We announce to you the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because the caliph… has accepted the allegiance of  our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching the jihad,” 

IS spokesman "Mohammed al-Adnani" said in the message, using the Arabic name of the Nigerian terror group. "Abu Mohammed al Adnani" encouraged people to join fighters in Africa if they cannot make it to Iraq or Syria.

UPDATE: Missing Girls In Syria Under Control Of Islamic State

According to Skynews, the three missing schoolgirls who left Britain to join Islamic State have crossed into Syria and are believed to be staying at a house in al Raqqa presently; under the control of Islamic State.

Remember recently Shamima Begum, 15, Kadiza Sultana, 16, and Amira Abase, 15, boarded a flight from Gatwick Airport bound for Istanbul last month. Authorities feared the teenagers, who attended Bethnal Green Academy in east London, were seeking to join the Islamist militants.

Sky's Chief Correspondent Stuart Ramsay said: "We're being told tonight that they've crossed into Syria through a crossing... which is not too far from Kilis. "They're now apparently in a house that is owned or controlled - or at least hosted by - a British girl who had been in contact with them through the internet, and had brought them through Turkey and into Syria.

ISIS Executioner Jihadi John Apologises to His Family

ISIS executioner and presently the most wanted ruthless killer in the world, Mohammed Emwazi has apologised to his parents for bringing shame to the family after being unmasked as ISIS butcher 'Jihadi John'. 

But the 26-year-old executioner, who has murdered a number of western hostages, including two British aid workers, has not expressed any remorse for the wild killings, according to MailOnline. Emwazi's family have been left with no choice but to keep hiding since his identity was revealed.

Shockingly pictured above are censored images of 8 dead bodies hanging from a metal frame at the entrance to an Iraqi city called Hawija.

 The photos are the Islamic State's latest public display of barbarity and according to reports, Hawija is the city they plan to make their new HQ. So they proudly displayed the dead men at the entrance. 

The ghastly images which emerged on social media show the men's limp bodies suspended from their feet off a tall structure in the town. The notorious black flag used by Islamist groups like ISIS is displayed above them as horrified looker-ons inspect the scene. ISIS fighter believed to be Abu Al-Rahman poses in one of the pictures below giving the one-fingered IS salute in front of a victim's bloodied corpse. Boko Haram Joins ISIS...

According to Channels tv, a audio message has just emerged involving the Nigerian militant group Boko Haram pledging allegiance to ISIS. 

Also is a message posted on Boko Haram"s twitter acount confirming that. the message is claimed to be sent by the group leader of the sect. though hasn't being verified by Channels tv. Wait a minute, i thought Boko Haram's twitter handle has been taken down... so which handle are we talking about here? well! that by the way.

 This same Boko Haram sect which has been a terror in the northern Nigeria since 2009 with the intention of imposing Islamic rule to this part of the country is now the latest in series of groups to swear allegiance to the ISIS.

Update: Maiduguri Bomb Blast Death Toll Rises To 51

Following our previous news on today's bomb blast in Maiduguri, Boko Haram insurgents coordinated three explosions in the morning of March 7, 2015, Saturday. 

Updates reaching us says the Maiduguri bomb blast actually claimed not less than 51 lives, with over 100 people sustaining various injuries. This very suicide explosion claims to be the worst attack on the capital of Borno state, Maiduguri, since the beginning of the year. One of the explosive devices was detonated by a suicide bomber riding in a Keke Napep.

Another unpleasant scene was released by the Bokoharam sect on twitter yesterday unfolding the beheading processof two young men accused of being spies for the Nigerian Police Authority.

The two men simply disclosed as Dawoud Muhammad & Muhammad Awlu, were led by Boko Haram militants to a forest where they were made to kneel and confess their 'offenses' to the camera. 

Boko Haram Members Drown in Lake Chad as They Try to Flee Nigeria

A large number of terrorists have drowned in the Lake Chad as they fled the heavy battle attack by Nigerian Air force indicating the advance of Nigerian troops on mission to flush them out of Baga, the Nigerian defence headquarters has said.

In a statement issued by the Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said; “Not even the strategy of mining over 1500 spots with land mines on the routes leading to the town could save the terrorists from the aggressive move of advancing troops'' 

NEW VIDEO: Boko Haram Leader Shekau Vows to Disrupt Nigeria Election!!

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has vowed to disrupt Nigeria's general election in a new video released today being Tuesday, after two suicide attacks in the northeast blamed on the Islamists killed 38 people.

"This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it," Shekau said in the Hausa language, presumably referring to the polls scheduled for March 28.

According to AFP, the video appeared to be the first message to be released by the group on Twitter, a sign of its changing media tactics after previous messages were distributed to journalists on DVD.

University of Maiduguri Set to Resume Despite Boko Haram Threats

University of Maiduguri staff and students have been asked to return to school on March 2 for the second semester of its 2014/2015 academic session despite the dread and security threat posed by boko haram set.

The institutions Chief Information Officer, Malam Ahmed Mohammed, said academic activities will start in promptly as scheduled as the announced date stipulated in the school's calendar.

"This is to inform all students, parents, guardians and staff that the University of Maiduguri will re-open for the 2nd semester, 2014/2015 session on Monday March 2, 2015 as contained in the university's calendar,"
