Yoruba Nollywood Stars Stormed Akure For The Movie Shoot “The Event”


We have pictures of Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola, Sanyeri Storm Akure, Ondo state a yourba movie titled “The Event” by Victoria Kolawole.

In the photos from the set after the cut below includes the stars mentioned, upcoming actor and actresses including the some of the crews from movie shoot. The movie is written and produced by budding actress Victoria Kolawole starred odunlade Adekola, muyiwa Ademol, Olaniyi Afonja a.k.a Sanyeri and many others. The shooting was held in Akure, the capital city of ondo State. See photos from the shooting set below:

INEC Releases Presidential Results from 10 LGs in Ogun State... APC Leading


According to Vanguard, INEC has released results of the Nigerian Presidential election in 10 local governments in Ogun State. As at 2:pm on Sunday March 29th in Abeokuta, APC won seven with wide margin while PDP won the remaining three local government areas.

The local government areas with released election results so far include; Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta North, Odogboolu, Odeda, Imeko-Afon, Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode, Remo-North, Ewekoro, and Ijebu North-East. See details of results after the cut...

If Buhari Wins… There ‘ll be Bombs and Bullets Everywhere – GEJ Fan, Asari Dokubo Threatens


Niger Delta militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo and his Niger Delta salvation thugs took to the streets of Warri, Delta state few days ago to show a strong solidarity and support for president Jonathan durring the course of the election.

The road walk saw thousands of youths expressing their determination to vote for Jonathan. Speaking at the rally, Asari Dokubo stated that it shall be gun for gun, bullet for bullet, bomb for bomb; should Buhari attempt to cause chaos after losing the election.

INEC To Release Results Of The 2015 Nigerian Presidential Election On Monday, March 30 – Jega


As we all prepare for the result of the electoral poll exercise carried out yesterday and today inclusive, keep in mind that INEC promises to release the result of the election on Monday 30th of March, 2015.

This was announced by INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega during a press briefing in Abuja. He also said people can find out the result of the election in their polling units as long as they remain calm and available during the electoral count at the each poll unit after the exercise. This will likely allow the result never to be altered.

Katsina State Police Commissioner Dies


The Nigeria Police has announced the demise of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi, the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the death of the commissional in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.

DSP Sadiq said that Hurdi died on March 27, after a prolonged illness. The late commissioner joined the service in 1988 as ASP cadet officer and rose through the ranks to the rank of a commissioner.

ELECTION UPDATES: APC Wins At Obasanjo’s Ward In Ogun


The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday defeated the Peoples Democartic Party (PDP) and every other party in all the elections held at General Olusegun Obasanjo’s ward.

At the election unit reported to be Ward 11, Unit 2, Shokori, Abeokuta, Ogun State. APC is reported to have more people voting for APC than any other party in the ward. See the announced result below;

PDP ALERTS!! INEC is Still Collating Authentic Figures... Why Is APC Posting Fake Results


PDP today released a press statement condemning the act of spreading unauthentic results of the election. See statement below:
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has charged Nigerians to totally disregard misleading figures being circulated by the APC in the social media as results of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some polling booths. 
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement on Sunday said the figures were “fake and do not represented the true results which are currently being collated by INEC, the only body authorized to release and announce results”.

The moment when electoral official comes late to the polling unit.. this is not funny at all but yet dramatic!

 An official almost got lynched by anxious voters after getting late to his appointed polling unit. He is an electoral official at Umunankwo/ Mputu ward in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State. LEADERSHIP Sunday has it that the poll officials arrived the centre at about 12:30pm without result sheets for two polling units. One of the officials for the centre, Mr. Ignatius Onyejekwe, stated that he escaped the wrath of the voters along with other ad hoc staff by the whiskers.

ELECTION UPDATE!! President Jonathan Loses Inside The Presidential Villa


President Goodluck Jonathan has lost to the All Progressive Congress candidate (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari In the final result announced at the two polling units of the Presidential Villa in Abuja as announced on Saturday night, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate (Jonathan) lost in his official abode, as he polled a total of 595 votes to General Buhari’s 613 votes.

The election which was conducted peacefully saw the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates also defeating the Peoples Democratic Candidates... Vanguard reports.

Buhari Expresses Satisfaction With The Peaceful Conduct Of Elections


The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections nationwide. While answering questions from Journalists at his home town in Daura, Katsina State, General Buhari said reports made available to him by his observers indicated that the election had been generally peaceful.

Buhari said the hiccups experienced in few states over the card readers were not enough to cast aspersions on the election. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for extending the exercise in some polling units till tomorrow. He also urged Nigerians to remain calm and accept the outcome of the election.
