Drunk Assistant Superintendent of Police Shoots Tricycle Driver Dead In Broad Daylight

The police in Lagos have launched a manhunt for an Assistant Superintendent of Police, identified simply as Mohammed, who allegedly shot dead a tricycle driver, Akeem Aranse, during an argument in the Shasha, Akowonjo area.

It was learnt that Mohammed, who is attached to the Disaster Management Unit of the Department of Operations, Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja, moved out of his apartment on Unity Close, Egbeda, shortly after the incident.

Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos state police command are currently investigating three security guards suspected to have attacked, robbed and murdered their boss right inside his office at Eleko area of Lagos state.

The suspects identified as Usman Mohamed, 27; Umaru Adamu, 35; and Mohamed (currently at large) worked as security guards in Trans Africa Farms and Food Company; owned by an Indian national.

According to reports, Usman Mohamed, Umaru Adamu, Mohamed (surname unknown) and one other person called Umoru, were employed by the company as security contract staff on January 25,
2015. Crime Guard gathered that on February 11, 2015, Usman Mohamed and Mohamed complained to Adamu Umaru who introduced them to the company, that the company had not paid their salary. Adamu reportedly advised the duo to take their complaint to the Operational Manager, (in the person of "Mr Srivastava Shailesh Kumar").

Members of Somali Islamic sect, Al-Shabab, stormed Kenyan's Garissa University College very early this morning and incurred mass murder of students and staff of the school. According to the latest report, 147 people had lost their lives in the dreadful incident which is so far the deadliest terrorist attack in Kenya. People with severe injure are about 79.

According to Kenyan security forces, of the 815 students in the college, 500 were rescued, 147 were killed and the rest - 166 - have not been properly accounted for. Some are believed to have been taken hostage. Kenya government claim they killed four of the terrorists.

Teenage Girl Stabs Boyfriend to Death for Attempted Rape in Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested an 18-year-old lady, Kafayat Olawale, for allegedly stabbing to death her 32 year old boyfriend, Ojo Ijabike.

The incident happened on Friday on Olutola Adebayo Street, off Idimu Road, in the Alimosho area of Lagos State. Investigations by PUNCH Metro revealed that Ijabike, an indigene of Owo, Ondo State, had attempted to forcefully have carnal knowledge of the suspect when there was a scuffle between them. Olawale, who hails from Osun State, was said to have stabbed the deceased in the heart region, while the 32-year-old victim inflicted injuries on her.

The man in the photo above was allegedly shot dead by a soldier this morning at Bauchi's INEC Office after the military tried to gain access into the office. Residents of the state had blocked the military from entering the office as results were being collated and this resulted into violence.

A fedral civil servant has been murdered some days into his retirement from active service, leaving his family in so much agony and pain. This poor man is disclosed to by one "Mr Emmanuel Emereonye".

Emmanuel, an administrative officer at the Federal Government Girls College, Umuahia, was on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, butchered by a labourer he hired to work for him in his hometown at Dioka Nzerem village, in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

It was gathered that Emmanuel had decided to build a befitting country house where he hoped to relocate to after his retirement.

A man, Godwin Elewana, has been accused of killing a 22-year-old youth, Douglas Ojugbo, for allegedly having an affair with his daughter. Neighbours said Elewana, who lives in the Cross River Basin Development Authority, Eight Miles area of Calabar, Cross River State, had warned Douglas to stop coming to his house to see his daughter.

It was learnt that Elewena could no longer hold his anger on March 10 when he pursued the boy from his house and allegedly shot him to death.

Gift Wahab (The suspect)

Moments ofsadness struck in the Ajegunle, Apapa area of Lagos State, after a 20-year-old woman, Gift Wahab, stabbed her lover, Ebi Amade, 28, to death. The incident occurred at the couple’s residence on Fasasi Street, Ajegunle, Apapa, on Thursday, March 19.

After several interrogation, it was discovered that the Gift who hailed from Uromi, Edo State, had been living with Ebi since 2013, after she dropped out of secondary school. Ebi hailed from Bayelsa State. The two reportedly had a kid in 2014, who passed away in December after a brief sickness.

It was further learnt that the couple had gone on an outing on Thursday when an argument came-up in the afternoon over feeding money.

The Director of Administration representing the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in the Board of the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Mr. Christian Onuoha, has been arrested by the police for the mysterious death of his 10-year-old housemaid.

The victim, Anurika Ngwakwe, was allegedly found unconscious in Onuoha’s car in his house at World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia, on Tuesday, before she was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro on Thursday, the father of the victim , Mr. Chinenye Ngwakwe, a 
security man with the state’s Ministry of Finance, said he wanted justice for the death of his daughter. The 49-year-old said the wife of the accused, "Precious" who is also a member of staff of the Ministry of Finance, had been mounting so mouch pressure on him to find a housemaid for the family.

Pregnant Silverbird Staff Murdered... Stabbed 11 Times!!

This staff of Silverbird Television by the name Aisha Noble Mustapha was grisly murdered on her way home from work. This happened on Saturday 14th March, 2015 around 7:30pm in the everning.

 Report has it that Aishat and her boyfriend had been having frequent quarrels over issues bordering on infidelity and unfaithfulness. Last Saturday, as she was driving back from work, her boyfriend lie-in-wait for her and this resulted in another disagreement. Pregnant Aishat was stabbed at least 11 times in the process. A texas jury has just found Eddie Ray Routh guilty of the murder of American Navy Seal (American Sniper) “Chris Kyle” and as a result has been sentenced to life in prisonment without parole.

The persecutor’s defence lawyer claims that his client “Routh” was psychotic as at the time of the shootings; two years ago. Chris Kyle who was brought to time-light with the film he wrote: “American Sniper” having retired from the military, helping other veterans deal with combat-related stress and mental health issues.

Boy Killed in Kaduna during Fight over Pres GEJ's Billboard Poster

A teenage boy has been killed in a dispute over a campaign billboard poster of President Goodluck Jonathan in Zangon Aya, Igabi local government of Kaduna State. Sama’ila Umar was stabbed in the back, and eventually fell into a well; all after a brief argument over the erection of Jonathan’s billboard in the town.

Police confirmed the incident and said one Mohammed Suleiman was arrested. A source in Zangon Aya told Weekly Trust yesterday that the incident happened on Thursday at about 7pm. Read details below after the cut...

The Califonia police has arrested a man on charges of murder after allegedly raping and killing his newborn daughter, World Wide Weird News reports.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that they arrested 30-year-old Matthew Brendan Warner of Newhall, in connection with the sexual abuse and murder of his 19-day-old daughter. Deputy District Attorney Julie Kramer said that Warner faces one count each of murder, assault on a child causing death, torture, oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years or younger and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
