APC behind fuel scarcity, President Jonathan campaigners allege

The fuel scarcity in lagos keeps going on the rise as we also have it in some other parts of Nigeria but the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation is alleging sabotage by the opposition, APC.

"The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO) yesterday has ascribed the sudden fuel scarcity in many parts of the country to a delibrate act of discruption by the opposition APC, which has penetrated the ranks of the fuel marketers.

Director of Media and Publicity of the PDPPCO, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, said in a statement in Abuja that the fuel marketers have taken a sub-contract from the opposition to frustrate supplies of petrol to fuel stations as part of a opulent plan to create tension in the crafty management of public affairs. See press statement below after the cut...

A fire outbreak has stroke in a plaza on Ereko Street in Idumota, Lagos Island. The fire started from the middle floor of the plaza and luckily, fire fighters this time quickly responded to the calls they got.

 Two other plazas have been affected by fire lately in Lagos Island, with traders loosing goods valued into millions of Naira. It was brought to attention that the Lagos State Governor, Babtunde Raji Fashola promised to help some of those traders start again when he visited them shortly after the fire incident. Forbes billionaire list 2015 has been released and the like of Bill Gates retains the top spot,  Five Nigerians made the cut - Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Folorunsho Alakija, Femi Otedola and Abdulsamad Rabiu. But Orji Uzor Kalu and Tony Elumelu who made the list last year were dropped off the list this year.

The youngest billionaire in the world is 24 year old Evan Spiegel, the co-founder of photo- messaging app, "Snapchat". The year’s biggest loser in dollar terms is Aliko Dangote of Nigeria, whose fortune dropped to $14.7 billion from $25 billion last year, propelled downward by an unaffordably weaker Nigerian currency and of-course the ridiculously shrinking demand for cement, his largest asset. He retains the title of Africa’s richest man anyways.

I found myself in a market place, oh! This market was so busy, many people were trying to buy,  while some trying to sell, some rendering services, while others were rushing just to be rendered  services. All this was just to earn a living and not to be left behind in the market square. 

I was  amazed to see these men busy that so many of them have forgotten they have a home, oh! what  a shame! It saddens to also see some men yet idle in this busy market place! Who are these ones idle in the market place? I ask. Why are they sitting down with their legs crossed, moping at each other very early in the morning? I didn’t stop asking.

The vice-president of Sierra Leone has put himself into quarantine after one of his bodyguards died from Ebola. 

Samuel Sam-Sumana said he would stay out of contact with others for 21 days as a precaution. There was this optimistic feeling after some visible evidence that the virus was on the decline in Sierra Leone at the end of last year but there has been a recent increase in confirmed cases.

A suspected female suicide bomber has been set ablaze by an irate mob while she was targeting the ever-busy Muda Lawal market in Bauchi State metropolis.

The mob were said to have carried out jungle justice on the lady after she refused to subject herself to a routine stop and search at the entrance of the market, ascetaining the intuition that she was a member of Boko Haram, whose insurgency including use of suicide female bombers has resulted in the death of about 20,000 people including in Bauchi.

NYSC Member Commits Suicide over Girlfriend..

The body of a 26-year-old National Youth Service Corp, NYSC, member, identified simply as Ernest, was recovered from his one room apartment after he reportedly took a poisonous substance. 

Reports indicated that the young man, who was in love with a fellow NYSC member, Chioma Okewuru, went furious when the girl came back from her village over the weekend with a ring from a man who has recently promised to marry her. Ernest, who is from Edo State and a graduate of the University of Benin, was posted to Cross River State in October, where he met and fell in love with Chioma, and both were serving in Redemption Secondary School, Ofombogha 1 in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State.

The First Lady, Patience Jonathan is at it again, she mocked the APC's chant for CHANGE when she charged women in the country to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP). 

Patience Jonathan at the PDP Women for Change Initiative Presidential Rally in Delta state said:

the woman in question "Matha nagbe" was made to the law and after two court appearances, she was fined with $150... her offense being "a cuase of nuisance and unnecessary noise".

However, Mrs Nagbe, the wife of a pastor, said she will carry on as she has always done, because she can’t help but to preach the gospel and it must sound loud and clear to the world.

A texas jury has just found Eddie Ray Routh guilty of the murder of American Navy Seal (American Sniper) “Chris Kyle” and as a result has been sentenced to life in prisonment without parole.

The persecutor’s defence lawyer claims that his client “Routh” was psychotic as at the time of the shootings; two years ago. Chris Kyle who was brought to time-light with the film he wrote: “American Sniper” having retired from the military, helping other veterans deal with combat-related stress and mental health issues.

Conjoint twins who were connected at the chest and abdomen have been separated after an operation that has never before been successfully was attempted on them.

This kids "Knatalye Hope and Adeline Faith Mata" were born in Texas last April and were recieved by parents; "Elysse and John Eric" .

The parents were told that their twin girls would be conjoined and when they were delivered; it was found that they share the same chest wall, lungs, pericardial sac (the lining of the heart), diaphragm, liver, intestines, colon and pelvis.

An armed bank robber has been burnt to death when he fell into the hands of angry villagers at Oju in Vandeiky local government area of Benue State. 

Reports have it that some gunmen, numbering about 20, had stormed the First Bank Branch in Vandeikya local government area of the state armed with dangerous weapons. In the operations that lasted several hours, the robbers ransacked the bank, carting away huge sums of money and also killed several people in the process.

The three missing teenagers believed to be heading to join Islamic state militants are thought to have crossed into Syria; BBC reports.

The London school girls were smuggled into Syria from turkey 4or 5 days ago and are said to have penetrated into Syria via the Kilis border crossing. The Bethnal Green Academy pupils took a flight from Gatwick city to Turkey, meanwhile telling their parents that they were going out for the day.

 A commuter train banged into an abandoned truck earliier today, causing a igneous derailment that injured dozens of people as three rail cars tumbled onto their sides northwest of Los Angeles.

A total number of 28 passengers were taken to the hospital, with four in critical injuries, according to the Oxnard Fire Department. PHOTO: Fake Custom Officers Arrested For Duping Car Buyers

A fake Deputy Superintendent of Customs, Ramoni Raji, who along with two others who allegedly duped their victims of not less than N5m in auction sales has been arrested by police.

Raji, with the other suspects ─ Usman Ibrahim and Adekunle Thomas ─ was apprehended in the Gowon Estate area of Lagos by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad. It was gathered that while Raji was pretending to be a DSC, Thomas pretended to be an official driver to Raji, while Ibrahim was in charge of giving out bank account for victims to pay into.

EXPLOSION AGAIN: Female Suicide Bomber Strikes At a Busy Bus Station in Yobe State

An explosion occured earlier today, i happened when a very young lady blew up herself in a very busy and crowded bus station in Potiskum, Yobe state. Reuters correspondent gathered that at least ten (10) people were believed to be killed by this latest explosion.

Today being Tuesday 24th of Feburary is the second time of such attach in this same city in less than a week. Earlier in the week, a young girl of about 7-years-old blew herself up at the GSM market in Potiskum killing five (5) people.
