HURRAY!! Nigeria Wins The African U-20 Championship For The Seventh Time


The resilient Flying Eagles seek a seventh African Youth Championship title in Dakar and of-course have no regret, because they have done Nigeria and the whole of Africa proud by winning the Championship.

This much awaited clash was unveiled as the stage was set for six-time Africa U20 champions, Nigeria and hosts, Senegal to battle it out in the final of the 20th African Youth Championship at the Senegalese football cathedral - the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar.



This very clash was be the second time that the teams have faced each other at this year’s tournament, with both countries emerging from the same Group A. 

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have now made history as the first country to lift the African U20 Championship seven times. Defeating Senegal (the host) team by 2-0 yesterday 22nd March to win the trophy!!
