Aso Rock Describes N2trillion Election Funds Story as “Mischievous, False and Wrongheaded”

The presidency has exposed today's front-page story on the Sunday Punch that said Pres. Jonathan spent a whopping N2 trillion on the 2015 General elections, and that a committee of five has been set up by President Jonathan to conduct an audit of how the funds were payed out by party members and state officials.

In an interview with state house correspondents, the president’s spokesman, Reuben Abati, described the report as “mischievous, false and embarrassing. It was just to paint Mr president and his party bad to the people; the handiwork our its opposition.. he said".

Ababti continued saying... “The President has not set up any committee as alleged in that story. It is also not true that the Presidency and the Peoples Democratic Party used state funds, or spent N2 trillion during the campaigns. The innuendoes are wrong-headed; the motives behind the story are suspicious.

PDP Chairman And A Youth Shot Dead in Ebonyi

Two persons were reportedly shot dead in the early hours of Saturday by unknown gunmen in Ebonyi state. The victims include a middle aged man, Mr. Mike Ojor in Ikwo Nnoyo in Ikwo local government area and the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ishielu LGA of the state, Mr. Emeka Nworie.

The mastermind of the despicably cowardly act of attack are said to be thugs allegedly loyal to an opposition political party in the state. A source close to Vanguard has disclosed that the late PDP chairman was attacked in his house in Ezzagu in Ishielu LGA and shot several times by his assaulters.

PDP Agent Caught With Fake Result Sheet At Poll Unit

A PDP agent has been reportedly caught with fake result sheet at unit 006 Ward 3 Opobo/Nkoro, Rivers State. And as for the record; Governor Rotimi Amaechi had earlier stopped accreditation at his ward due to the absence of result sheets.

Both presidential candidates have been spotted making their votes this morning, each sides with his wife. Jonathan casted his vote at Bayelsa while buhari at Kastina, implying that they both went to their home towns for the exercise.

Report has it that this morning voting accredition with the APC Presidential candidate Gen. Buhari and his wife Aisha in Daura, Katsina state was said to be smooth but seem not to follow suit with that of president jonathan.

President Jonathan and his wife Patience at their polling unit in Otuoke, Bayelsa state this morning faced some challenges trying to vote. Infact, President Jonathan is yet to be accredited following the failure of the card reader. Sambo Visits Lagos, Tells People, Don’t Vote For A Man With No Certificate

Vice president of Nigeria, Namadi Smabo on Thursday during a meeting with the Arewa community in Lagos at the old parliament building in Tafawa Balewa Square, urged Lagosisans not to vote for  man with no certificate tomorrow at the polling booth.

Wife of the President, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has warned women against voting for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, saying the retired soldier was planning to build prisons if elected into power.

Speaking at a rally organised by the women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, in Akure, Ondo State, on Tuesday, the President’s wife said Nigerian women should reciprocate for good the gesture of her husband, who ensured that a large number of women was appointed into political offices during his administration.

She said the APC was a dying party that thrives on the spread of romours, propaganda and lies, saying that women should not be deceived into “returning to bondage.” 

Jonathan Doesn’t Deserve North’s Votes After Wife Abused Northerners - Aisha Buhari

The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Aisha Buhari, has condemned the repeated bashing of the North by the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan. Patience Jonathan allegedly described the region as an enclave of beggars and unwanted children, according to Premium Times.

Mrs. Buhari said the description coming from someone who ironically campaigns for votes in that region is an indication of a hidden agenda, adding that the people of the North should, therefore, reject both the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate.

Speaking at the PDP women rally in Onitsha, Anambra state yesterday 23rd March, 2015, The First Lady "Patience Jonathan" said APC will be buried on March 28th. 

According to Mrs Jonathan, the defection of Rivers state Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru from APC to PDP is an indication that the opposition party is dead.

“Imagine the deputy of a whole director-general of the APC presidential campaign decamping, does that not show that the party is dead? The party is dead and buried and March 28 is its burial. The party will not live again. When you start answering old drugs, expired drugs, then you know that your death is coming closer. The way things are going, APC will soon bear Ebola.

"They are busy abusing me and my husband. I will not answer them" - Patience Jonathan

Mrs Dame Patience Jonathan says she will no longer be acquainted with issues that involves the opposition party in Rivers state who she described as rascals. Mrs Jonathan said they have been several abuses at herself and her husband - the president over the attack at APC rally in Okrika on Feb 17th and that she no plan of answering them. 

She said this while campaigning at the PDP women rally in Rivers state yesterday. She said;

"They are rascals and I will not respond to them. Don’t let me open my mouth to talk about all these no for good rascals. The Rivers trail of governace will not be completed until hundred (years). It will remain like that until my great grandchildren are born. We did not vote for these people. We in Rivers State voted Celestine Omehia, but these people came and took our mandate away and today they are abusing us. They don’t have respect for elders at all. They are busy abusing me and my husband. I will not answer them. In Rivers State, we respect elders but these rascals have no respect for their elders. We must vote them out in April.”

Recall the OPC Saga at Ikorodu?... APC Set To Drag President Jonathan To International Criminal Court

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization (APCPCO) has made it known that it will send a petition against President Goodluck Jonathan to the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague.

The APCPCO said in a statement on Wednesday and signed by Mallam Garba Shehu, Director of Media and Publicity that the petition follows the massive terror unleashed on the residents of Lagos by armed pro-Jonathan groups under the dubious cover of a faction of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) on the pretext of demanding the sack of Professor Attahiru Jega, National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Buhari's Wife Is Only Deceiving Nigerian Women - Patience

First Lady Patience Jonathan, says Aishat Buhari, wife of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been going about deceiving Nigerian women.

According to TheCableng, the first lady said this on Tuesday when the campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) women birthed in Ilorin, capital of Kwara state.
She said... “Don’t be deceived. Don’t look at any woman that comes here; don’t listen. They are just deceiving themselves because out of the abundant of the heart, the mouth speaketh,” 

“Their husbands have said that they would not carry women along and that there is no office for the first lady but now they want to deceive Nigerian women and she has come out to say ‘My husband said it was an error’. Don’t worry, I will carry on in the traditional way. “Any woman that comes out to you, tell her to go back. Don’t let any Nigerian woman deceive you.”

OPC thugs has gone rampage on Ikorodu Road, it stated from afternoon when thugs were seen destroying APC posters.

OPC thugs came out in mass destroying things and causing all kind of nuisance, all in the name of political campaign, its now obvious the reason for Jonathan's visit to lagos(OPC) afterall. A huge traffic was cause on Ikorodu road today, the thugs said they want INEC chairman Jega removed and also don't want card readers for the election. And of-course they were escorted by SURE-P police escorts.

''My Husband Must Complete his Two Terms'' – Mrs. Jonathan

The wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, on Saturday insisted that her husband would remain in office for eight years to complete his two terms in office, no matter the opposition. 

PUNCH reports that Mrs. Jonathan, said this during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) women rally, under the endosement of the "Women for Change and Development Initiative", in Benin, Edo State. She was accompanied by national and state leaders of the party. They were chosen from different support groups across the state turning out for event as early as 9am in the morning.

Patience Jonathan told Punch through her media aide in person of "Ayo Adewuyi" that as the President of African First Lady, she can never be associated with electoral violence, whether pre, during or post election violence. She is strictly for peace.

"The only thing we can say from here is that Dame Patience Jonathan is a woman of peace that can never in any way be identified with violence before, during and after elections. You do not expect somebody who is the President of African First Ladies to be promoting violence.” ... lolz!!

First Lady Blows Grammer on Buhari... Calls Him Old Man Without Brain

At every occassion as this [any public function] is one that we all expect various, new, crazy, & funny slogans from our very own Madam Patience. This time at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally wasn't an exception as she poured out her mind about Buhari.
